Being a black woman, I thought it was appropriate for me to bring attention to this. The Brown v Board of Education case made it possible for me, as well as other black people, to attend prominent schools and receive a quality education. Mrs. Henderson once stated, "I wanted my children to know all races like I did. It means a lot to a person's outlook on life. No inferiority complex at all, that's what I wanted for my children as far as race was concerned." Well said, Mrs. Henderson. Many thanks to you and the other 12 parents who chose to be pioneers and take a stand against inequality. R.I.P.
